It's only available in rpm and deb.

How do I go about installing it?

I searched google and these forums, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere.

I tried to install the rpm, but I got into dependency hell when doing this, so I gave up. I tried using rpm2targz also, but I didn't know what to do with it after it was made.

thanks for any help in advanced.

Why not install a supported platform (e.g. Ubuntu, OpenSuse) in a virtual machine and try it from there until there is (eventually) an ebuild for that?

Thanks for the reply. I will definitely wait for the ebuild. I guess there isn't an easy way to preform the install on Gentoo yet.
