Does anyone know any good VGM player for Linux?
I've already tried Audio Oveload, but it usually fails to repeat loops (with .vgm files).

Features I would like a VGM player to have:
support for as many other formats as possible, most desirable formats:
      .vgm (of course)
      .vgz (gzipped vgm)
      .gym
      .nsf
      .nsfe
      .mod
      .spc
      .ssf

    .wav dumping
read support from archives (zip rar...)

Note: these were no requirements.

Since I have installed Wine, I could also use Windows program if no native Linux program cannot be found.

Audacious will play most of those. It doesn't mention .ssf, and I'm not sure how good its looping support is (I don't have any properly looped VGMs to test with). The Mod-file support is pretty good.

Audacious works far better playing files than Audio Overload, but lacks support to export songs as wav (maybe a plugin will do that).
Also the interface is much nicer.

It does have .wav output - it's called "Filewriter plugin", hidden in the audio output plugins list under ALSA.
