strange. i cannot reproduce that.
although it is unlikely to be the reason, sync the overlay again.

remove the overlay and
Code:
rm -rf /usr/local/portage/layman/mozilla/

then re-add it

there might be a git, svn, whatever related problem and the repo ...

I'm having the same problem. Neither removing the directory and re-syncing, or using "layman -d" and "layman -a" to replace it did any good. I took a look at the ebuild and it applies every patch in "${FILESDIR}/${PV}".

Just for kicks, I simply deleted the file and emerge is happily running. Whether it actually completes and produces a running app remains to be seen. I'll let you know.

Nope, the build completed but firefox wouldn't run. What's worse, when I tried to go back to beta4 it is broken now too. Stuck with bin-3.5_rc2 until I can figure out what happened.

Oh well :)

I filed a bug, in the comments it says running dos2unix on 066-fix-includedir-mozilla-js.patch fixes this problem.

Mine failed with "Couldn't load XPCOM". I'm going to try it again and see what happens.

A freaking DOS formatted text file? Oh well, re-synced and it's building now.

Thanks.

Edit: All good now with the fixed file and a revdep-rebuild. Seems pretty snappy at first glance.
