hi all,
I installed a new funtoo system follow the docment.I see the words such as "udev:Persistent network rules enable in /etc/conf.d/udev","error:loading key mappings" and "ERROR:keymaps failed to start" when I use the shift+pageup key after reboot. Then, the syslog-ng and vixie-cron are failed to boot with funtoo. I think maybe it has some relationship with udev....
Now,I can login the system but can not use any command such as "emerge"....
I think somebady can help me....

As loftwyr said, funtoo is not exactly gentoo, although they share much. As the package versions and the install guide may be quite different, this question does not fit into the Installing Gentoo forum.

thx all of us...

maybe it's not OS problem。。。

when i reinstall the gentoo/funtoo,run "fdisk /dev/hda",it told me only remain 83M harddisk here and can not write to disk as follow:
You will not be able to write the partition table.
Note:sector size is 2048 (not 512)
invalid flag 0x0000 of partition table 4 will be corrected by w(rite)

but when i enable the SCSI support in the COMS and run "fdisk /dev/sda" not only funtoo but also gentoo are all display error as my first note。。。
