I know that the qting-edge overlay has unstable/live ebuilds of qt with the qt-copy patches but does any of the overlays have 4.5.2 with the patches?

I would like the benefits of them without having to go to a live ebuild.

Anyone?

Actually KDE's Qt-copy is just stable 4.5.2 with a some patches. That's what qting-edge's ebuilds install when you enable the qt-copy USE flag.

AFAIK, there are no ebuilds for UNstable/live Qt with qt-copy patches.

And they (the KDE people) change Qt-copy so rarely and carefully that its pretty safe to install it straight from svn.
