If it's still actual, try to update overlay and emerge libclam-1.4.0. I think it has been fixed.

Probably the problem is cache files of your browser. Try cleaning them. Same here with firefox-4, too.

Now I'm seeing it. Groovy, baby!

Hi!

The CVS for media-sound/schism-tracker-9999 has been changed:
Code:
 * CPV:  media-sound/schism-tracker-9999
 * REPO: proaudio
 * USE:  amd64 elibc_glibc kernel_linux multilib userland_GNU
>>> Unpacking source...
--2010-09-05 20:21:51--  http://nimh.org/schism/cvs-snapshot.tgz
Auflösen des Hostnamen »nimh.org«.... 216.169.144.42
Verbindungsaufbau zu nimh.org|216.169.144.42|:80... verbunden.
HTTP Anforderung gesendet, warte auf Antwort... 404 Not Found
2010-09-05 20:21:51 FEHLER 404: Not Found.
"http://www.nimh.org/schismtracker/" mentioned CVS to be maintained on sourceforge (https://sourceforge.net/projects/schismtracker/) now on https://sourceforge.net/scm/?type=cvs&group_id=139576

Is it possible to add live cvs support to that ebuild?

Wineasio does not build anymore :-(
Latest time I succesfully compiled it I had to manually modify the jack-audio ebuild to configure with --mixed mode (32 bit + 64 bit). Now jack-1.9.5 ebuild has the 32bit flag.
In the meantime I also upgraded from glibc-2.11 to glibc-2.12.

Code:

I bumped wineasio to svn version, try to use it. But I don't know whether it helps you. I have a 32 bit system and cannot reproduce your case.

If you have a 64-bit system, you will simply need a 32-bit chroot for some things.

That's why in my audio-for-Gentoo guide, I insist on building a 32-bit system.

I don't think so... I already compiled wineasio succesfully in the past and I used it lots of time with jackbridge.

That's not what I had in mind, though. There are some programs, such as Ardour, that will not compile with the vst use flag in 64-bits, and some plugins that won't work in 64-bits. :wink:

Have you tried a 32-bit chroot?

@darkbasic: Looks you have wine build with USE="win64" and the wineasio Makefile looks for -lwinspool in /usr/lib64 first.

If you do not want/need to run 64bit windows binaries, try compiling wine with USE="win32 -win64"

Anyways we need to patch wineasio so it ignores win64 stuff in any way.

EDIT: Try this one with win64 enabled please:
Code:

I'll test this too when I'm at home. Need to rebuild wine first.

Yeah, it's possibile. If I'm not wrong win64 is a default use since wine 1.2. I will try with -win64 as soon as possible.

Yup, win64 is enabled by default. I have -win64 and wineasio-0.7.5 works well.

I disabled win64 and it compiles flawlessly :)
You should modify the ebuild to require wine with -win64 use flag in the meantime...

If you want to do that, you can post it to my pro-audio ebuild fixes thread until a maintainer picks it up. :wink:

Qtractor seems to have moved from CVS to SVN on sourceforge. The qtractor-9999 ebuild in the overlay also differs in a number of other ways from the in-tree version. The CVS version is behind 4.6 from portage. Should be ESVN_REPO_URI="https://qtractor.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/qtractor/trunk"

No, it isn't: emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "<dev-libs/icu-3.8". There is no icu<3.8 ebuild :-(

dev-libs/icu-3.6-r2 added. On the other hand, set xmlpp as a default XML backend for libclam-1.4.0, so maybe xerces-c-2.8.0 and icu-3.6 are unneeded.

If anyone's looking, here's an ebuild for the latest stable Ardour:
