wtorrent has been the only rtorrent gui i've been able to install. Since I managed to do that about 2 months ago i've never actually gotten it to work.

Today i've tried to fix this and i'm about ready to go insane again. Every time I try to add a torrent I get this damned error
Code:

Error: Impossible to create file on given directory, please check permisions

I've checked my permissions and ownerships and they all check out fine. What could I be doing wrong?

Same problem here :)
Is there a good manual about wtorrent or another good torrent+webGUI tool?

I remember you from my last rtorrent thread that got nowhere. Guess nobody else uses rtorrent here in these forums and i'm not hopeful of finding a fix.

I've fixed it (for now).

Every instance of "DIR_EXEC . DIR_TORRENTS" in $WTORRENT/wt/cls/AddT.cls.php has to be replaced with "DIR_TORRENTS"

To do that

Code:
WTORRENT=/var/www/localhost/htdocs/wtorrent # set this to your location
cp $WTORRENT/wt/cls/AddT.cls.php $WTORRENT/wt/cls/AddT.cls.php.original
sed 's/DIR_EXEC . DIR_TORRENTS/DIR_TORRENTS/g' $WTORRENT/wt/cls/AddT.cls.php.original > $WTORRENT/wt/cls/AddT.cls.php

By the way, where you found the solution?
