I'm using TuxOnIce with 2.6.31-zen-9 kernel and pm-tools (or whatever is the default handler in Xfce), I've seen it working as intended, but occasionally it will fail to hibernate. But what is even more disappointing is that sometimes it fails to resume after seemingly successful suspending to disk.

If it fails to hibernate, the error message is
Code:
Active allocator's write_header_init function failed. Press space to continue

and the system is returned to a state preceding the hibernation attempt.

Here's a dmesg log from a particularly unlucky session when TuxOnIce both failed to resume from a seemingly successful suspend to disk, as well as failed to hibernate again. Bold lines are what seems suspicious about failing to resume from suspend.

Thanks in advance on any clues as to how to fix this.

what tuxonice version? 3.0.99.41 with 2.6.32 is very stable for me (not a single crash, max 20 cycles)
