The issue I'm having is the fact that Bitpim-1.0.6-r1 keeps erroring out when I try to pull the data off my old Sanyo MM-8300.

A snippet of the log:
BitPim version: 1.0.6-Gentoo
An unexpected exception has occurred.
Please see the help for details on what to do.

The full bug-report can be seen here and my 'emerge --info' can be seen here.

A little background information: I have successfully used an earlier version of Bitpim (v0.9.13) with this Sanyo MM-8300, but that was on an x86 system. That old system is no longer available, but I still have the data (READ: HDD) from that system. I have also read the other posts here for issues with Bitpim and I have already run 'python-updater' several times. Only things it comes up with are the 'manual additions' of boost and vte.

Any ideas on getting this version running without errors?
