Wow, the rt2800pci driver actually works now!

Now if only I could turn off my computers without crashing them...

the problem I have seen before with 2.6.35-rc4 and tuxonice
when trying to hibernate system hangs at "Doing atomic copy/restore" on the netbook with Atom n450/video Intel GMA 3150/2GB RAM now affects the latest 2.6.34-zen2

clearly same patches were applied. Any way of fixing this?

thank you

Whoo, laptop 100% functional and no freezes at all. :D

Anyone know why compcache is complaining about ioctls? Not ready for 2.6.35 yet?

Probably something with BFS. Compache works normally with ARCH kernel (at ArchLinux), but fails to start with CK and ZEN at Gentoo and at Arch.

Makefile corruptions are highlighted:

Code:

VERSION = 2
PATCHLEVEL = 6
SUBLEVEL = 35
[b]<<<<<<< HEAD[/b]
EXTRAVERSION = -zen0
NAME = Untested Master
[b]=======[/b]
EXTRAVERSION = .2
NAME = Sheep on Meth
[b]>>>>>>> 2.6.35-upstream-updates[/b]

EDIT: The ones in the [b] tags are extraneous entry - didn't realize that [b] wouldn't work inside [code]

this needs attention for those who use corei7/corei5:
[patch 0/3] sched: fixes related to scaling down cpu power with RT tasks

the [PATCH mmotm] vmscan: raise the bar to PAGEOUT_IO_SYNC stalls needs to be re-included + the fix in zen-stable :idea:

same here..
with the commit previous to the last one (http://git.zen-kernel.org/?p=kernel/zen-stable.git;a=commit;h=eea3e8155038634910eb4756a7ad77b791c539af) i i do not have that prob, but compiling still fails:

Quote:

[...]
CC drivers/md/dm-region-hash.o
drivers/md/dm-region-hash.c: In function `dm_rh_inc_pending´:
drivers/md/dm-region-hash.c:531: error: implicit declaration of funktion `rh_inc´
make[2]: *** [drivers/md/dm-region-hash.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [drivers/md] Error 2

which seems to be related to http://git.zen-kernel.org/?p=kernel/zen-stable.git;a=commit;h=b7adbb942672c53342fa2482cd660f812d761d7e

i went back to commit c39d583be213f0c513308b629de996363b60cbb0 which made the kernel compile for me. I´m afraid i cannot test if it´s booting right now
