I have problem building libvmime on Gentoo.

http://www.vmime.org/post/Build-against-libgnutls-2.8

Quote:
The solution is to use a version < 2.8. I got it to build with 2.6.6

Gentoo does not have gnutls 2.6.6.

And when I tried

Quote:
We can fix it by replacing the AM_PATH_LIBGNUTLS(1.2.0, have_gnutls=yes, have_gnutls=no) by PKG_CHECK_MODULES(GNUTLS, gnutls >= 1.2.0, have_gnutls=yes, have_gnutls=no) in the file configure.in and update the configure file by issuing the command "autoreconfig -vfi".

Regards, Ngoc Tam

It stops with an error like this:

Code:

# autoreconf -vfi
.
.
.
configure.in:69: the top level
configure.in:75: installing `autotools/compile'
configure.in:77: required file `autotools/config.rpath' not found
autoreconf-2.68: automake failed with exit status: 1

I built that on FreeBSD from ports. But portage does not have this lib. Someone please help.

Thanks in advanced.
