Got some problems emerging xbmc-9999 with libbluetooth missing atm.

Code:

checking for hci_devid in -lbluetooth... no
Could not find suitable version of libbluetooth
checking for main in -lyajl... no
configure: error: Could not find a required library. Please see the README for your platform.

!!! Please attach the following file when seeking support:
!!! /var/tmp/portage/media-tv/xbmc-9999/work/xbmc-9999/config.log
 * ERROR: media-tv/xbmc-9999 failed (configure phase):
 *   econf failed

 *     ebuild.sh, line  557:  Called die
 * The specific snippet of code:
 *                      die "econf failed"
 *
 * If you need support, post the output of 'emerge --info =media-tv/xbmc-9999',
 * the complete build log and the output of 'emerge -pqv =media-tv/xbmc-9999'.
 * The complete build log is located at '/var/tmp/portage/media-tv/xbmc-9999/temp/build.log'.
 * The ebuild environment file is located at '/var/tmp/portage/media-tv/xbmc-9999/temp/environment'.
 * S: '/var/tmp/portage/media-tv/xbmc-9999/work/xbmc-9999'

I'm not finding any use flag for disabling this, any ideas? Not sure if there's a package in portage for it, although I don't really need it.

Aside from that, -9999 use to compile & run quite well.

An "emerge bluez" got me past that problem but it failed on the very next line:
Code:
checking for main in -lyajl... no
configure: error: Could not find a required library. Please see the README for your platform.

An "emerge yaj" got me past that error but then I ran into:
Code:
Done, type 'make install' to build and install
cat /var/tmp/portage/media-tv/xbmc-9999/work/xbmc-9999/lib/libdvd/libdvdread/misc/dvdread-config.sh >> obj/dvdread-config
chmod 0755 obj/dvdread-config

Done, type 'make install' to build and install
./configure: line 27206: ./configure: No such file or directory
configure: error: Submodule lib/libid3tag/libid3tag failed to configure

 * This ebuild is from an overlay named 'local': '/data/local/portage/'
 * The complete build log is located at '/var/tmp/portage/media-tv/xbmc-9999/temp/build.log'.
 * The ebuild environment file is located at '/var/tmp/portage/media-tv/xbmc-9999/temp/environment'.
 * S: '/var/tmp/portage/media-tv/xbmc-9999/work/xbmc-9999'

This looks similar to a problem I had emerging makemkv. The solution there was to change the emake line:
Code:
-   emake GCC="$(tc-getCC) ${CFLAGS} ${LDFLAGS}" -f makefile.linux || die "make failed"
+   emake GCC="$(tc-getCC) ${CFLAGS} ${LDFLAGS} -O2 -D_GNU_SOURCE -D_linux_" -f makefile.linux || die "make failed"

I have no idea if a similar patch would fix xbmc-9999.

Thanks, those 2 emerge fixed it for me.

I'm not sure why you seem to have problems with libid3tag. I did a sync and it is currently compiling. I'm guessing their trunk might have had problems..

Edit: Seems functional also.

You actually helped me out. My problem was self-inflicted. I was using a custom ebuild that is now outdated. I changed over to the stock ebuild and it emerged without a hitch.
