You are missing something. :P What USE flags were active for VirtualBox. Is your user in vboxusers group.

Is your user in vboxusers group. With -qt4 you probably won't have GUI.

From the command line, it does not show up. Any suggestions?

Ok. So that fixed the groups problem, the user now is part of the vboxusers group, but I still get

Code:
bash: VirtualBox: command not found

when I type:
Code:
VirtualBox

Run
Code:
equery files virtualbox
to see what's installed by the package. In particular, look in the reported "bin" directories.

Code:
/usr/bin/VBoxHeadless -> /usr/lib/virtualbox/VBox
/usr/bin/VBoxManage -> /usr/lib/virtualbox/VBox
/usr/bin/VBoxSDL -> /usr/lib/virtualbox/VBox
/usr/bin/VBoxTunctl -> /usr/lib/virtualbox/VBoxTunctl
/usr/bin/VBoxVRDP -> /usr/lib/virtualbox/VBox

Edit: Do I need recompile with "qt" use flag or something?

That's what the ebuild appears to indicate. I'm not personally familiar with the package so I don't know for sure.

It's the qt4 USE flag, by the way. Also, you'll need to make sure that the headless USE flag is not set.
