Hi guys,

I'm new Sabayon user and i read maybe all topic about the update of portage, but I still have problem.

I did: emerge --sync and when I do the comand: emerge portage the answer is this:

Code:
Calculating dependencies... done!

!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy ">=dev-db/sqlite-3.3.8:3[extensions]" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- dev-db/sqlite-3.7.6.3 (masked by: EAPI 3)
- dev-db/sqlite-3.7.6.2 (masked by: EAPI 3)
- dev-db/sqlite-3.7.6 (masked by: EAPI 3)
- dev-db/sqlite-3.7.5 (masked by: EAPI 3)

The current version of portage supports EAPI '2'. You must upgrade to a
newer version of portage before EAPI masked packages can be installed.

For more information, see the MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge
man page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook.
(dependency required by "dev-lang/python-2.7.1-r1" [ebuild])
(dependency required by "sys-apps/portage-2.1.10.3" [ebuild])
(dependency required by "portage" [argument])

I tried with: USE="-bash-completion" emerge -1 portage, but doesn't work.

There is someone that can help me?

My emerge --info is:

Code:

Sabayon is based on Gentoo but it's not the same.
You'd better ask for help on the Sabayon forums.
Gerard.

Moved from Portage & Programming to Unsupported Software. Questions about Sabayon—even when asking about a Gentoo component—belong here.
