Have you tried to compile its source code?

I use Zim.

I'll also recommend vym, for mind-mapping - get the latest code from git:
Code:
git clone git://vym.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/vym/vym

You may use executable_mynotex 1.1.4.tar.gz (Executable file of MyNotex for non Debian and Debian derived distributions (unpack, make executable and run). There's no need to compile from source.

spy20 , you downloaded source code, if you want working apps out of box

32bit you must download --> this
64 bit --> this

Code:
tar zxvf executable-mynotex-*
chmod +x mynotex
./mynotex

Sqlite >=3 must be installed in the system); and works

Hi, I watched the video for dropzone and it seems to do quite a lot. Which bits of functionality are you after?
If you want a dock on linux then there are quite a few e.g. awn or cairo-dock. They might have plugins that offer
similar functionality, but I don't use them so I'm not sure.

Skitch grabs screenshots and webcam images which you can annotate, is that right? Well there is a gnome app
called cheese (in portage) and I believe you can use it do something similar but it might be webcam only, again
I don't use it personally but you can try.

You're RIGHT.
I love Dropzone, because it's simple and very useful.
In fact I used it for FTP, pastebin, publish post on blog (rarely), publish pictures, untar (unzip).
All in the dock, all in one click.
Multiple actions could be possible with different notification.

I've installed cairo-dock but not use actually.

For skitch, I'm using shutter, but not cheese actually because I have'nt webcam.
So Skicht is useless than an alternative of Dropzone

Thanks for your replies.

@l4ance
I will try this and I will do a feedback.
Thanks

According to the site, MyNotex was developed with Lazarus, so if you want to compile it, you could install it ( dev-lang/lazarus ), and then try using it to build. (It has a graphical IDE, so I don't imagine it would be hard.)
