compiled dolphin-emu using the directions given here: http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/wiki/Linux_Build.
at first it worked great but just an hour ago i tried to open it and got the error:
Code:
gentoo Build # dolphin-emu
dolphin-emu: error while loading shared libraries: liblzo2.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

not sure what happened. there is no liblzo2 package to emerge and google is not helping at all.

anybody have any ideas? i just purchased an i7 2600k and i was pretty excited to see how it handled dolphin.

liblzo2 is comes with dev-libs/lzo

Code:
$ equery b /usr/lib/liblzo2.so
 * Searching for /usr/lib/liblzo2.so ...
dev-libs/lzo-2.06 (/usr/lib64/liblzo2.so.2.0.0)

that fixed that error message but now i'm getting an error with libCg.so
using your code as a guide:
Code:
equery b libCg.so
 * Searching for libCg.so ...

doesn't find anything

"equery b" looks up to which installed package a file belongs. Since I have liblzo2 installed, I found that it belongs to lzo.
Sadly, there's no database that I know of that lists which files belong to which package.

But I can tell you that libCg.so comes from media-gfx/nvidia-cg-toolkit :)

darn. i hate feeling this helpless, i'm assuming this is going to keep happening for awhile.

the current package i'm looking for is libGLEW.so.1.6

any clue why dolphin worked for me like four hours ago but now i'm missing packages?
i did update the system and do a emerge --depclean but that's not supposed to get rid of packages that you're using...
