|I spent the past half hour trying to figure out why the hell MPlayer refuses to enable matroska support even tho I emerged libmatroska right after I booted into a clean gentoo install.
So here it comes... you HAVE to set the use flag matroska in your /etc/make.conf (USE="matroska") or
|USE="matroska" emerge mplayer |
Another thing to keep in mind is that MPlayer-1pre2 checks for libmatroska-0.5.* and MPlayer-1.0pre3 checks for libmatroska-0.6.*
If you don't have any of those installed then just do:
|ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~arch" emerge libmatroska
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~arch" USE="matroska" emerge mplayer
I hope this saves some hassle to anyone.
P.S. MPlayer-0.92 doesn't support matroska so don't bother
