can I copy Gentoo Iso on an usb pen and launch it live frome usb?

http://www.sysresccd.org/Sysresccd-manual-en_How_to_install_SystemRescueCd_on_an_USB-stick provides better methods to get a better gentoo based install usb.

I read I need a computer running Gentoo Linux (or alternatively another Linux distribution) and I haven't because my notebook can't run the other linux distros, so maybe I must use the cd, 10x anyway.

http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/

Download gentoo iso and build it with above tool to make a bootable usb stick for installation. Works on windows, mac and linux
