|I spent a lot of time trying to get wireless to work on my DreamPlug. It's a first generation one that came with a 2 GB SD card and an 802.11g chip. Anyway, I want to use it as a wireless access point.
I first tried the traditional Libertas SDIO driver in the kernel. Not the thin-firmware one, but the other one. I kept getting firmware loading errors with it. It said it couldn't find the firmware. And it kept barfing "-2" for an error code every time I tried to boot it. I tried a variety of naming schemes inside /lib/firmware and /lib/firmware/marvell.
Then I tried the thin-firmware one, but I can't get an SDIO option to appear. Only a USB one. I'm using a gentoo-sources kernel, by the way.
I just want a wireless access point.
NOTE: Completely drunk right now.
