I read
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/mips/yeeloong.xml
and install gentoo on my yeeloong 8089D.
Wired network OK
I cannot config wireless nework wifi.
How can I do?

The Yeelong uses RTL8187B wifi, which should show up in lsusb.

Ensure that CONFIG_RTL8187 is enabled in your kernel. "lsusb -t" will show it as driver then.

Sorry for taking so long to answer this. I'm push out the gentoo yeelong image but I almost never read the forums.

The trick is this: you need to turn on the wifi before using wicd. You do this by pressing Fn-F5 (the Fn key is in the lower left of tye yeeloong.) When you do, you get a green light showing up in the lower right corner of the netbook --- there are three LEDs there, its the furthest on the right and has the little wifi symbol. *Then* click on the wicd icon and scan for wireless. Let me know.

BTW in about 1 day I will be pushing out new yeeloong images ot the tree.
