While installing gentoo on my new system, it couldn't build glib.h. Perhaps I forgot something pre-chroot, since no bug exists:

cc1: warning: ../src/modules: No such file or directory [enabled by default]
/tmp/portage/portage/media-sound/pulseaudio-4.0-r1/work/pulseaudio-4.0/src/pulse/glib-mainloop.c:33:18: fatal error: glib.h: No such file or directory
#include <glib.h>

find / -name glib.h
/usr/include/glib-2.0/glib.h

/tmp/portage/portage/media-sound/pulseaudio-4.0-r1/temp/build.log
http://sprunge.us/dhNc

emerge --info '=media-sound/pulseaudio-4.0-r1::gentoo'
http://sprunge.us/aRQY

emerge -pqv '=media-sound/pulseaudio-4.0-r1::gentoo'
http://sprunge.us/HEHO

If I recall, pulseaudio needs to have acecss to kernel sources? I compile them in a tmpfs at the expected location ( /usr/src/linux-3.12.5-gentoo for example) in a tmpfs, acter extracting them from an archive, after emerging them. The archive is there because i compress the sources when i'm not using them to save space.
