I have this issue that when the kernel is loading...After the Uevents line shows...my screen graphics look all glitched. I won't be able to see anything but weird blocks of colors. It will stay like this until X loads up and the X server will make it go away. This is a real issue since if I ever need to boot into my console I will not be able to. This started after I installed Nvidia drivers. I do not have the nvidia frame buffer enabled in the kernel. I'm not sure if this is related to the Nvidia drivers or not. Any suggestions?

I had the same issue with the nvidia binary blob sometimes. I don't know exactly how to fix it as I'm using nouveau most the time, but it is very likely that it has something to do with the frame buffer driver. Not having the nvidia frame buffer together with the nvidia driver is correct, they are incompatible. The nvidia-drivers readme says you should not have any frame buffer driver at all. However, for some weird reason my setup most of the time worked better when I used vesafb instead of a plain text console. Maybe you should play around with enabling / disabling vesafb and see if that changes anything.
