I've installed Gentoo on my Pandaboard but the rootfs is mounting read-only. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Did you check /etc/fstab , to check there is no ro option?

I just needed to move the little locking switch on the SD card, but I needed to move it to where the "LOCK" label is written which I would have thought would lock it. Which position does the switch normally belong in to unlock it?
