hello everybody.

I'm wondering if there's a way to pass parameters from grub configuration (or even kernel parameters) to the init script inside initramfs. My specific case is I would like to set the LABEL for the root filesystem (mounted by init script) for each choice in the grub boot menu. Any suggestions?

thanks a lot.

I'm running grub 0.97.

that requires some string parsing, but it's a good idea.

thank you!
