There is a problem with my fan after resuming from hibernation, I would like to adjust the fan manually so that I need to run some commands just after hibernation. I tried creating a bash script file under /etc/pm/sleep.d or creating /etc/pm/hooks, none of it works. Could someone please tell my how? Thanks.

The answer depends on what tool you use to enter hibernation. Some people use sys-power/hibernate-script, which is a command line script that handles many of the details for pre-/post- sleep. Others use various DE-integrated programs. For hibernate-script, you would configure it in one of the /etc/hibernate/*.conf files.

I am using this command to hibernate

/org/freedesktop/UPower org.freedesktop.UPower.Hibernate

you mean that hibernate-script will work? I will try

by the way, I don't have /etc/hibernate

I am wondering which is better, and more compatible, hibernate-script or pm-utils?
