Hello!

I'm not really sure if this is a right place to ask, however.
I have a kernel compiled of ck-sources.
This kernel has only 3 modules atm: bbswitch, nvidia & xhci.
Nvidia gets loaded every time I boot, preventing bbswitch from disabling the optimus card till I rmmod it by-hand.
I did not configure autoload of any moduels, e.g. I do not even get what could lead to the modules being loaded.
I don't have initrd (kernel compiled as efi stub kernel, everything needed to boot is Y, not M).
I do not have bumblebeed in rc-update list listed as a started service at any level, etc etc.
E.g.: there is nothing I see I've done (except for VIDEO_CARDS=nvidia emerge bumblebee) to make modules autoload.

What could be the reason for it? Some udev magic?
Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you.

UPDATE:
I've found this:

Thread from 2012, which seems to solve my issue & explains whats going on.

right now the only certain way to prevent a particular module from loading is to add kernel boot parameter. Blacklisting in /etc/ often fails since /etc is not mounted while initramfs is doing it's job.
In your particular case I'd expect it to do fine though.
