This is the first time I install gentoo. After I installed and setup xorg-server with nvidia-drivers-340.24 by following those two instructions:

http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/NVidia/nvidia-drivers

http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/X_server

everything works fine and I also successfully run the command startx. But then, after I reboot the computer, it stopped forever at the step "loading module nvidia..." and I even cannot enter a command line prompt by typing ctrl-alt-F2.

Can anyone help me resolve this problem? Thanks.

Generally the last shown message is not the error but last valid message before the error.
If you use grub, you can hit "e" to edit kernel command line and add "s" at end so you'll boot in single mode.

If you don't use grub or it fail, grab a livecd, mount your system on it, and check dmesg from there.

There's nothing bad from what i see in that dmesg.

Are you saying it stop/freeze when loading X then?
redo the grub trick, or use again livecd and remove
Code:
rc-update del /etc/init.d/xdm default
to stop X from starting auto.

And if you need testing (assuming it doesn't really crash that bad as you think as just having no keyboard working will prevent ctrl+alt+f2 working), use
Code:
/etc/init.d/xdm start & sleep 20 && /etc/init.d/xdm stop

(adapt sleep timer as you prefer and adapt to your way to start X server)

And if it's that people will ask Xorg.log
