This error appears to be unrelated to prior discussions about glibc-2.19-r1 failing to build, all of which appear to be accompanied by a log message about a broken kernel, kernel needs to be upgraded, etc.

Here, there are no such messages.

On this system, the build for glibc executes error free for 17,000+ lines of log file, then the error shown:

I have not yet investigated further, but did grep around for an existing bug to match this, with no luck.
